The Fine Print

Official mission rules.

The plain-English rules and terms for Roseburg Plug Missions. They are free to play, friendly to enter, and we wrote these so everyone knows exactly how it works.

These Official Mission Rules ("Rules") apply to the promotional challenges, called "Missions," offered by The Roseburg Plug LLC. By entering a Mission, you agree to these Rules. We keep them simple on purpose. If anything is unclear, just reach out and ask.

1. Overview and Sponsor

Roseburg Plug Missions are run by The Roseburg Plug LLC ("Sponsor," "we," "us"), based in Roseburg, Oregon. A Mission is a free promotional challenge where you complete a simple task, such as visiting a local spot, snapping a photo, sharing a post, or answering a prompt, and in return you can earn rewards like local prizes, points, or a feature on our channels. Missions are meant to celebrate Douglas County and the people and businesses in it.

2. No Purchase Necessary

No purchase or payment of any kind is ever required to enter a Mission or to win a prize. Buying something will not improve your chances of winning. Missions are free to play, always.

3. Eligibility

Missions are open to legal residents of the State of Oregon, and are intended for folks in and around the Douglas County area. You must be at least 18 years old to enter on your own. If you are 13 to 17, you may enter with the permission of a parent or legal guardian, who agrees to these Rules on your behalf.

Employees of the Sponsor and their immediate family members are welcome to join in the fun, but are not eligible to win prizes. Missions are void where prohibited or restricted by law.

4. How to Enter

Find a Mission at roseburgplug.com/missions, read the listed steps, and complete the task. Then submit the required proof, such as a photo, a link, or the requested information, through that Mission's form before the stated deadline.

Unless a Mission says otherwise, the limit is one entry per person, per Mission. Your entry must be truthful, must be your own work, and must follow the steps as written. Late, incomplete, or unverifiable entries may not be counted.

5. Mission Types and Winner Selection

There are three kinds of Missions, and each Mission will tell you which type it is:

  • Everyone wins. Every entry that we verify as complete earns the stated reward or points. There is no cap and no drawing.
  • First come, first served. The first set number of verified entries win, in the order we receive them. Once the spots are filled, the Mission is closed.
  • Raffle. One or more winners are chosen at random from all verified and approved entries after the deadline passes.

For every Mission type, the Sponsor reviews and verifies each entry before awarding anything. Our verification decisions are final.

6. Prizes

Prizes are described on each Mission. They are often local gift cards, swag, a feature on our channels, or prizes provided by a sponsoring local business. There is no cash alternative unless a Mission specifically states one. Prizes are awarded as is and are not transferable or exchangeable.

If a prize has a value that creates a tax obligation, any applicable taxes are the responsibility of the winner.

7. Winner Notification and Claiming

Winners are notified by email at the address provided with the entry. Some Missions also announce winners on our Facebook or Instagram, or in person, as noted on that Mission. Please keep an eye on your inbox.

Winners must respond and confirm their claim within 7 days of being notified. If we do not hear back within that window, we may forfeit the prize and select an alternate winner.

8. Photo and Publicity Release

By submitting an entry, you grant the Sponsor permission to use the photos or content you submitted, along with your first name and last initial and your entry, on our website and social channels for promotional purposes, without any additional compensation. We love showing off our community, and this is how we share the fun.

9. Privacy

We collect your name, email, and the information you submit only to run the Missions and to contact winners. We do not sell your personal information. If you would like us to remove your information, just email us at theroseburgplug@gmail.com and we will take care of it.

10. Conduct and Disqualification

The Sponsor may disqualify any entry that is fraudulent, inappropriate, unsafe, or that breaks these Rules. Please play fair, be kind, and use good sense. For in-person or photo Missions, follow all applicable laws and respect private property and the people around you.

11. Platform Disclaimer

Missions are not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Instagram, Meta, or any other platform. Any reference to those platforms is for participation purposes only.

12. Liability Release

You participate in and complete Missions, including any travel to locations, entirely at your own risk. The Sponsor is not liable for any injuries, losses, or damages arising from participation in a Mission. Some Missions involve outdoor or public locations, so please use good judgment, watch your surroundings, and stay safe.

13. Changes

The Sponsor may modify, suspend, or end any Mission, or update these Rules, at any time and for any reason. If we make a meaningful change to an active Mission, we will do our best to make it clear.

14. Governing Law

These Rules and any Mission are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute relating to a Mission will be resolved in the courts located in Douglas County, Oregon.
